The students learned fire safety skills such as what to do in the event of a fire and coming up with an escape plan for their families.
They also focused on emergency medical skills such as basic first aid and CPR.
Running most Sundays for three months, the young people were able to get really hands-on with the workings of a fire and rescue department.
The program was even featured in our local paper!
We wish our Junior Firefighters all the best for the future and hope to see them join us as volunteers when they turn 16!
